As Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, World Vision Mexico, you will have overall responsibility for providing coordination and leadership for monitoring and evaluation of the grant, including formative investigation (pre-intervention baseline), ongoing data collection, and summative research evaluation (post-intervention). M&E Officer would also be responsible for the evaluation that will sum up the grant’s accomplishments in accurate and objective way. You will also support local partners in establishing their M&E and work closely with eth Private Sector Partners as needed for reporting systems, as well as provide technical assistance to improve their understanding of project evaluation and a performance-based management approach. In addition, to monitoring and evaluation, the position will support reporting activities, including the training of staff.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor required, Masters preferred in Statistics, Demographics, Public Policy, International Development or a related field- with an advanced certification in M&E, Statistics or economics preferred
  • Report writing, research, monitoring and evaluation skills
  • Knowledge of major evaluation methodologies (quantitative, qualitative and impact)
  • Willingness to undertake regular field visits and interact with different stakeholders, especially primary stakeholders
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Strong mediation and conflict resolution skills
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
